Thank you's and a mini party :)

Hello!

This may sound like a bad Oscars speech but bear with me. Firstly a big thank you to lovely Catherine of Mollycupcakes for this pretty card, beautiful china rose pin, and for a voucher for a mini rolling pin each for my girlies (I've chosen blue for one and pink for the other and I'll show then when they arrive!). The card has been snaffled by my eldest and is tucked into the top of the peg rail in her room at the moment looking very cute.

Secondly a huge thank you to Rose for this gorgeous package of die cut goodies that I won in a giveaway. I know they are meant to be for cards but my Mum, brother, girls and I had great fun with them this afternoon during our little party (more of that later) and here are a few of the results... mine is the three dancer types ;) We still have some left so that should keep them occupied, they have probably spent two hours playing with all the bits and pieces this afternoon and I would recommend them to anyone with kids. Or to use for yourself of course!

We had a little family party this afternoon because the fallouts over the last few weeks have meant that my girls weren't invited to two of their friends' birthday parties and my eldest was quite sad about it so I said we'd have our own! Bloody hard work this morning but I think it was worth it in the end. I am sure you're thoroughly sick of me posting pictures of party food but here's some more anyway!

I made them a party bag each with a little wooden star and some sweeties in, they both liked them. The little mouse is one my Mum brought over for little one, she says I made it when I was young and it sounds likely but I don't remember!

Then we drew silly faces on the balloons!

And pin the tail on the monkey, which was great fun! This is it after stickers have been removed and restuck a few times :-S

Finally when Mum and little bro had gone we did some balloon catching and throwing, more playing with the little people/faces/clothes/animals from Rose and danced to Abba :)

Hope you're having a fun day! xxx

Hello Mel,
You are very welcome sweetie. I'm glad you like the pin. And the 2 mini rolling pins will be with you shortly.
Your party looks and sounds like great fun. And those pink cupcakes look yummy.
Thanks for the message on my blog hun. I'm trying now not to think about Sept, until it's here. Just enjoy the holiday and maybe a new house.
Lots of love,
Have a good weekend.
